SUD NAUTIQUE is a local public company operating under the legal form of a public limited company. Officially established on June 16, 2025, it is the result of a joint initiative by its two founding shareholder municipalities: the City of Le Marin, which holds 98% of the capital, and the City of Les Anses d’Arlet.

The creation of SUD NAUTIQUE reflects a strong and shared political commitment: to equip the southern region of Martinique with a dedicated public operator specializing in the management of recreational boating and nautical activities. This structure, owned exclusively by local authorities, is designed to work solely on their behalf, providing them with a modern, flexible, and efficient tool to manage the challenges of the nautical sector.

The company’s first mission is to implement a renewed, innovative, and more integrated management approach for the Marin seaport, under a public service concession. Its ambition is to enhance performance, improve service quality and user experience, and strengthen the coherence and long-term development of this strategic facility.
